Dr Mohamed Kaderbhai Dentist

Dr Mohamed Kaderbhai qualified at Leeds Dental School in 1992 and spent the next 2 years as a junior doctor in various hospitals in Leeds and Sheffield pursuing his special interest in surgical dentistry. He spent the following 2 years in various practices working as a general dentist in Leicester before he opened Carillon Dental Care in 1996. He has a speciality interest in prosthodontics, his interests are in providing advanced and complex dental care which includes cosmetic dentistry and implants. He has numerous postgraduate qualifications which include a Masters degree in Prosthodontics. He has been a LDC committee member since 2005.
Dr Joe Vere Specialist in Restorative Dentistry - Implantologist

Dr Joe Vere is the principal implantologist at Carillon Dental Care. He has worked with dental implants since 2003 and gained a Masters in Dental Implantology from the University of Sheffield in 2010.
He obtained his Membership in Prosthodontics in 2013 from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.
Joe was appointed as Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at Glenfield Hospital, Leicester in March 2015. He completed his specialist training at Charles Clifford Dental Hospital, Sheffield.
Prior to this he worked in general practice and at hospitals in Leicester and Derby. Joe is interested in dental implants, fixed and removable prosthodontics and surgical periodontal treatment. His main area of interest is dental implantology and he has lectured, published and presented internationally in this field. Joe is committed to postgraduate teaching and delivers courses to local dentists throughout the East Midlands.
Joe prides himself on being a people person, treating all patients as individuals. He takes great care to ensure that his patients achieve their dental goals and referring dentists are extremely happy with the referral service that they receive.
Dr Gurmukh Singh Raja GDC No: 75514 BDS
I qualified in Cardiff and completed my vocational training in a busy city centre dental practice.My interest and focus has been more towards cosmetic dentistry and I am a certified Invisalign and 6MonthSmiles provider which are the clear cosmetic braces systems. I am an active member of the BACD-British Academy of Cosmetic Dentists and the ESAO-European Society of Aesthetic Orthodontics I regularly attend all lectures and conferences. I have recently completed the course and am now certified with the British Institute of Laser Dentistry. Outside of work I enjoy socialising especially eating out with my family and friends. I play football regularly and other sports. On the rare occasion I like to do something outrageous like skydiving!!!
Dr Hemal Ashvin Charadva Clinical Lead

GDC no. 244274After completing his training year at Carillon Dental Care, Hemal went on to a career development post in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Royal Derby hospital. This post allowed him to develop his Surgical ability as well as his medical knowledge to improve the standard of care he provide. He hopes to enrol onto a Master’s Program in the near future with a hope to become a specialist.Hemal’s aim at Carillon is not only to develop his own skills but to also ensure the practice maintains an excellent standard of care to provide to our patients.
Manbir Sandhar Dentist

GDC no. 252664Manbir graduated from the University of Manchester and then went on to complete her vocational training in Leicester. She is certified in doing short course cosmetic orthodontics, and can provide C-fast and RX Aligners; a form of clear braces. Manbir has an interest in cosmetic dentistry and is looking to pursue these in the future. Manbir thrives on patient care, as she loves to see her patients happy and smiling..Outside of work and dentistry, she loves to socialise with her friends and she loves to shop. Manbir also has a great interest in cars!
Simon Taylor Dental therapist

GDC no. 252418Simon is one of our most recent staff members and has recently been qualified as a dental therapist in July 2014. He studied dental hygiene and dental therapist at Teesside University. He will be taking further courses in dental whitening and periodontal treatment. Simon feels that delivering high quality patient care allows the patient to feel relaxed during their treatment.
Shirali Sakaria Public Relations Manager
Shirali has been working in the dental industry for 27 years. Initially starting her career as a dental nurse, she gradually progressed her career within the dental sector. She joined Carillon Dental Care in 2001 as a Practice Manager, she was responsible for setting and maintaining the high standards at CDC. Shirali has always been dedicated to providing an excellent service to both the practice and our patients. Since April 2015 Shirali has taken on a new role as the Public Relations Manager at CDC, this role is key to promoting Oral Health Awareness to our local community. This is an extremely exciting project and a new challenge for both Shirali and the practice. We hope that this will educate our future generation and community about preventative oral health education. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys going for walks, baking and spending time with her family.
Lisa Mitchell Patient Care Coordinator
Lisa has been working at the practice since 2003 where she started out as a receptionist. She has also done some nursing in her time at the practice and now in her role as Patient Care Coordinator, she works alongside the Practice Manager.
Rebekah Gosnell Assistant practice manager/Oral health educator

Bex has been with Carillon Dental Care for 5 years now and is registered as a dental nurse/assistant manager. She enjoys learning new things even if it’s a challenge for her.
She is a people person and loves making people happy. Outside of work she loves socialising and shopping. Bex has two miniature pinschers who she spends most of her time with.
Fay Jones Practice Manager / Patient Care Manager
Fay has worked as a dental nurse within the NHS since 2008 and went onto qualify with the National Dental Board for Dental Nurses in 2011. Having spent a number of years in various roles Fay wanted to further her knowledge and skills and enrolled onto a Dental Practice Management University course where she soon realised that she thrives upon daily patient contact and working in a customer care environment, where patient care is key. This has now led Fay into her current role as Patient Care Manager for Carillon Dental Care.
Nadine Solou Dental Nurse

Nadine studied at Leicester College and has been a qualified dental nurse since December 2013. She enjoys caring for patients and ensuring that their visit is calm and as enjoyable as possible.
Outside of work Nadine is currently learning Spanish and a keen animal lover. She enjoys keeping fit, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Nadine is also qualified in beauty therapy which she studied at Loughborough College.
Stephanie Bills Patient Care Coordinator
Stephanie is our Patient Care Coordinator. This is Stephanie’s first job with dentistry and she is really keen to learn and progress within the practice.
She is really enjoying the challenge that her role is offering her, and loves the fact that she is learning new things and developing herself.
She thoroughly enjoys working with people and making them feel welcome and comfortable; with every job she has had, it has always involved working with people and developing a strong work based relationship.
She really enjoys getting to know patients on a personal professional level and building rapports as it can really put people at ease.
Her hobbies include socialising with friends, watching films, listening to music, and going to see bands perform. She also enjoys keeping herself fit by attending the gym on a regular basis.
Holly Hennessy Senior dental nurse/Oral health educator

Holly, also known as Hollifer, has been in the dentistry field for almost 6 years and has a national diploma in dental nursing. She has certificates of competency in impression tracking and fluoride application. Holly loves getting stuck in as she loves the surgical side of her job. She is a very helpful member of our team as she loves training trainee members of staff and watching them grow. Alongside dentistry, Holly has organised a charity sky dive for the practice. She enjoys baking and spending time taking part in animal protection charities such as RSPCA. Holly is also known a crazy cat lady and has a cat called Dude. If Holly hadn’t got into dentistry she would have been an artist as she loves drawing in her spare time.
Carina Elise Amundson Trainee dental nurse
Carina, better known as Rina, is very close to becoming a qualified dental nurse as her last exam is this April. After she qualifies she would like to work towards more qualifications.Carina would like to gain as much knowledge as she can within orthodontics in the future. She is a big animal lover as she has 2 cats and 2 fish called Steve and Lloyd.
Melissa Spencer Trainee dental nurse
Melissa has been with us since September 2014 and is one of our trainee dental nurses. She has a keen interest in all dentistry and orthodontics. Once Melissa is qualified she would like to do a post qualification in OHE, radiograph and impression taking, continuing working for the NHS and possibly at a hospital.
Laura Walker Trainee dental nurse
Laura is one of our trainee dental nurse and has been with us for around 10 months. Her goal is to become a dental therapist and gain qualifications in management. She enjoys extractions and being able to calm nervous patients. Outside of work her hobby is shopping and spending time with her kitten called Minnie.
Katie Tyler Patient Care Coordinator

Katie has studied Travel, Leisure and Tourism at Loughborough College, and has achieved a NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing at Nottingham People’s College.She has been in the dentistry field 10 years. Katie started as a trainee dental nurse in Loughborough and then went to university to study Operating Department Practice. After completing her course, she went to a specialist practice partook in a wide range of procedures including implants, periodontics, and endodontics. Moreover she attended weekend courses with the clinicians to build up her skills on these procedures also as well as learning advanced cosmetic treatments. While working at CDP she would like to build up her patient relation skills and hopefully work her way up to Patient Care Manager.She feels the most important element when dealing with patients is customer service; patients may be anxious or unsure about their visit. Her priority is making the patient experience a comfortable one by putting patients at ease and building up a professional relationship is paramount.Her hobbies are going to the gym and socialising with friends and family.
